An exhibition of selected visual works by Woody Guthrie. Curated and designed by Nora Guthrie and Steven Brower, fifty-eight high-quality reproductions of political cartoons, pen and ink illustrations, watercolors, children's art, and oil paintings represent various stages and developments in Guthrie’s life as a visual artist. With images and text drawn from the eponymous publication, “Woody Guthrie Artworks, The Journals, Drawings, and Sketchbooks of an American Original” (Rizzoli 2005), the exhibit unveils a previously unexplored aspect of this American icon.

Featuring many classic Woody tunes including "This Land is Your Land" and "Bound for Glory," Woody Sez captures the heart and spirit of Woody Guthrie and the stories of America.

In 1933, Woody Guthrie begins a two-decade journey through America, witnessing the Great Depression, the dustbowl mgrations, and a World War. Along the way, he learns the stories he'll turn into his legendary songs about the beauty and struggles of this country. Follow him as he finds the voice he'll lend to the American spirit, inspiring generations. Pete Glazer's musical uses Guthrie's own powerful words and over two dozen songs.
